Blast, white backed planthopper and gall midge is a major problem in Mae Hong Son Province, a non glutinous rice line PRE09035-CRI-12-3-1-1 was derived from a single cross between PRE04009-10-1-1-2 and Khao dawk mali 105 since 2009. Inter station yield trials had tested in 2013-2014. In the wet season the average yield was 579 Kg/rai while the average yield 665 Kg/rai in RD21 and 654 Kg/rai in Phitsanulok 2. In the dry season the average yield was 722 kg/rai while th average yield of RD21 and Phitsanulok 2 were 780 and 752 kg/rai, respectively. Converting Upland Rice Fields to Rice Terraces in slope area is one of an alternative rice planting system for sustainable rice cultivation on the mountainous area in the upper northern of Thailand. It can produce double yield compared with those of upland rice. However, soil fertility should be considered when first converted. Therefore, rice nutrient management by Omission Plot Technique has been studied. Ninety-three samples of high land rice, “Bue Po Lo” variety from Mae Hong Son province and one sample of “Eto” variety from Chiang Rai province were evaluated for genetic diversity at Maejo University during June to December of 2012. Treatments were arranged in a Randomized Complete Block design with 2 replications. Cluster analysis of quality characters using NTSYS software was performed to construct dendrogram. The results found that sheath color, internode color, awn character, stem pattern, flag leaf pattern, panicle base pattern, stem vigor, secondary branch pattern, panicle pattern, panicle exertion and threshing were significantly different. The development of agricultural system paddy rice terrace one is an activity under the project contrary to the security area, Phukhat Phumiang Phusoidao as a Royal projects. The Water Conservation Project for The Queen was prepared from The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives that reassigned to the H.M. Queen Sirikit . Occesion visited the Royal Project and visiting people in Mae Hong Son Province during 3-9 march 2006. Her intention was to give proplance who living on a high area to awareness the importance of tree, water, soil and survive with a reasonable and sustainable forests. In 2012 Mae Hong Son Rice Research Center has followed the strategy to promote learning and professional development based on sufficiency economy.
